Cancer is increasing
One in three Finns will have cancer at some point during his or her lifetime. Treatment of cancer has improved during the recent decades, almost two out of three cancer patients get well.
Cancer must be treated individually. The patient participates in planning treatment and his or her mental and physical resources are taken into consideration throughout the treatment path.

Cancer Society of Southwest Finland has a service point in the Tyks T-Hospital 1-floor. Personal support is provided there every Wednesday. Read more (in finnish).
