There is an outpatient clinic within our centre, which assesses the patients' need of assistive technology in an interprofessional environment.
Regional assistive technology centre works as an internship for assistive technology engineering, physiotherapy, speech therapy and occupational therapy students.
We are responsible for the special assistive technology device services of the hospital district and the assistive technology device services of Tyks patients, when the need of assistive technology is based on a condition that is being examined or treated.
