Gynaecological Outpatient Clinic

Nurse talking to a couple.

We offer the women in the hospital district of Southwest Finland and their families the services of specialised gynaecology.

We also study and treat patients from the hospital districts of Satakunta, Vaasa and Åland.

Our specialties are general gynaecology, demanding gynaecology, infertility treatment, severe endometriosis, pelvic floor problems of women, gynaecological day surgery and the study and treatment of gynaecological cancer.

We function as a scheduled appointment clinic. You need a doctor's referral to be admitted. We also admit patients from the emergency room, other wards of Tyks and other hospitals.

A clinic fee, a day surgical fee or a continuing treatment fee is collected from our patients based on the form of treatment. See client fees.

We examine and treat women with gynaecological problems in different stages of their lives. Most common reasons to visit are early pregnancy problems, pregnancy terminations, gynaecological haemorrhage problems, lower abdomen pains (including endometriosis), prolapses and urinary leakage, PAPA alterations and gynaecological tumours. We treat gynaecological day surgery patients and give sexual counselling. We also examine and treat men when it comes to issues of infertility.

A fertility laboratory and a sperm bank are located in our clinic. Their activity is monitored by Fimea. If you are interested in sperm donation, please contact 02 313 2357 or spermapankki(a)
