We examine and treat different neurological diseases and symptoms. Patients are admitted to inpatient care, for example, due to epileptic seizures, symptoms of the central and peripheral nervous system, intense headache, degenerative diseases of the nervous system and disturbances of the cerebral blood circulation.
We perform rehabilitative treatment in close co-operation with the interprofessional treatment group.
Our patients are admitted via the emergency room, from the stroke control unit or by a doctor's referral.
A daily inpatient fee is collected from inpatient ward treatment.
Mon to Sun 1 pm to 6:30 pm. We wish that each patient has a single contact person, via whom information is passed on from the ward to the next of kin.
In addition to diagnosing diseases and rehabilitation during treatment and the acute phase, we plan the follow-up care, rehabilitation and monitoring of patients. We work in close co-operation with the stroke control unit.
Timely rehabilitation can help the patient's later recovery. The guidance and direction of the patient and his/her next of kin is important.
The ward has a total of 24 beds for general neurological and cerebrovascular patients.
There are 10 two person rooms and four single rooms (which can be applied as isolation rooms as well) Every patient room has
- a toilet and a shower
- a locker for storing clothing and personal belongings
- a TV, a radio and a WiFi connection
- the possibility to use a landline
You can use your own mobile phone in the patient rooms and the facilities of the ward.
The day room and the balcony of the ward can be used by both patients and visitors.
