Over 4000 children are born in our ward. Our goal is to take the family and the individual needs of mothers into account. The mother and child are treated by a midwife and, if required, an obstetrician, anaesthesiologist and a paediatrician.
The labour ward is on duty 24 hours a day.
A daily inpatient fee or a clinic fee is collected, depending on the visit. See client fees.
The partner or a support person is welcome to participate in the childbirth. Other visitations need to be arranged separately with the staff.
Every delivery room is a single room, where the infant is also cared for. Some of the delivery rooms have a shower and a toilet. One of the rooms has a bath tub.
Caesarean sections are performed in an operation room located at the labour ward. A partner or a support person can participate in a caesarean section.
The partner or support person can have some food or wait in a break room located in the ward.
