Emergency services – Tyks Acute
Due to the insufficient number of inpatient facilities in our area and the challenging staff situation, Emergency services – Tyks Acute is focusing on treatment of the most acute patients. Therefore Tyks Acute complies more strictly with the admission criteria for emergency care and the guidelines of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health and the Government Decree on the criteria for emergency care.
In practice, the guidelines mean that you are recommended apply to your own health center in all non-urgent situations. For example, the need for a sick leave certificate only is not a sufficient reason to apply for a Tyks Acute admission.
A unwritten referral from a primary health care and a private clinics to an Emergency Department or a written referral received from there will be always re-evaluated on a case-by-case basis by our triage professionals.

Patients attending emergency services usually have many symptoms or illnesses that are related to the need of acute help. An overall assessment of the patient is needed for determination of how urgent the need for help is.
Emergency clinics

mental disturbances, addiction or
dental problems.
