Support, wellbeing and personal aids for cancer patients
A diagnosis of cancer causes mental turmoil for many patients and for his/her beloved ones. Each patient reacts in his/her own way to the diagnosis; cancer is a highly personal experience that affects the physical and mental wellbeing of the patient.
The cancer patient will get support in many ways before, during and after treatment. One way to support the patient is to provide him/her with aids to help with the activities of daily living. The patient may also benefit from consultations and support by hospital chaplains, social workers and peer groups.
