Intensive Psychosis Outpatient Care is primarily reserved for inhabitants in Turku aged 18–69 years who have a therapeutic relationship with one of the Psychosis working groups in Tyks Psychiatry. Intensive
outpatient care support patients receiving specialized psychiatric health care.
Patients are referred to us by the psychiatric working groups. We participate in therapy planning in collaboration with the working groups. During the therapy discussions we plan and agree together with the patient on suitable individual therapy methods. Family and close-of-kin are welcome to participate in planning and carrying out of the therapy.
The therapy methods available are: home visits; follow-up of medication; activities on your own and with the family to improve function and life control; and additional social rehabilitation.
