We treat emergency patients in need of
specialised care, who arrive with or without a referral by themselves, by
ambulance or from another treatment unit.
A clinic fee is collected from your visit.
There is a round-the-clock joint emergency
service of the hospital and health centre in the emergency unit, functional 24 hours
a day and seven days a week.
Before departing for the emergency clinic
You can assess the need for and the urgency of
your emergency visit before departing. If you are unsure of what to do, contact
your own health centre or our phone counselling.
See guide: Arriving at the emergency room
The procedure unit is functional during
office hours. We perform various endoscopy examinations, minor surgical
procedures and pH registrations there.
Our medical orderly is responsible for the
castings of patients from the emergency room and other wards. The procedures
performed by a specialist doctor always require a referral.
There are no visiting hours in the joint
emergency ward per se. Possible visitations should be agreed separately with
the nursing staff.
The medical orderly of our unit received
the Achiever of the year award of the hospital district in 2011 for his
distinguished efforts towards the benefit of the unit and patient work.
