We treat patients with difficult skin diseases and ulcers. Long term care patients might need inpatient care in case of treatment fatigue.
You need a doctor's referral to be admitted. Patients in need of urgent care are also admitted via the dermatology outpatient ward and the emergency room.
A daily inpatient fee is collected from inpatient ward treatment.
Mon to Sun 1 pm to 7 pm.
Treatment in our ward usually lasts a week. Diagnostic procedures are carried out and a suitable treatment for the skin disease is sought during this period. The focus is on the patient's home care and on people assisting the patient at home. There is a social worker in the work group.
Our inpatient ward is in co-operation with the department of infectious diseases. The department of dermatology section has 8 beds:
- 4 two person rooms and an isolation room
- there is a toilet, a washing room and a TV in the rooms
- every patient room has a piece of art
There is a common room in the ward for patients with a TV, a computer connected to the internet, a coffee maker, a microwave and a refrigerator.
You can use your mobile phone in the ward.
We received the achiever of the year award presented by the hospital district in 2007 for developing our co-operation with other wards.
