Expertise and competence
The head physician of urology docent Peter Boström received the valued Crystal Matula award of the European Association of Urology in 2013. The award is presented yearly to a promising academic urologist under 40 years old. The award was presented for the 16th time, and it was awarded to someone from the Nordic countries for the second time.
The latest technology in our activity is represented by an assistive robot used in surgery.
There are patient rooms of 1 to 5 people with their own toilets, showers and TVs. The rooms also have lockers for storing your personal belongings.
In the common room of our ward patients can read magazines and watch TV. The use of your own phone and computer is permitted in our ward.
We are a part of the Tyks operational division of the Department of Digestive Surgery and Urology.
