Our primary patient group is children under school age, whose growth and development require special monitoring due to the psychosocial situation in their family.
Patients are admitted to be monitored in the clinic by a doctor's or a social worker's referral. The monitoring is often planned at the child inpatient ward soon after the child is born.
The visit usually lasts 60 minutes. The child's weight and height are measured and a physician will examine him/her at every visit. We discuss the child's and the family's situation with the parents. A physiotherapist can attend the visits, if required.
