We study and treat patients under 16 with diseases of the abdominal region. Our largest patient groups are patients with coeliac, gastro-oesophageal reflux disease, inflammatory bowel diseases, ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease. We also treat and examine, among others, paediatric liver diseases.
You need a doctor's referral to be admitted.
A clinic fee is collected from your visit. The visit usually lasts 30 minutes, and it includes the height, weight and blood pressure measurements by a nurse and a physician's practice visit. A dietitian or a speech therapist can be present at the visit, if required. As we are part of the university hospital, a specialising physician or medical students near the end of their studies can be present during your visit.
Any blood tests and imaging studies required are taken in a laboratory or at the imaging centre before or after your visit based on the doctor's assessment.
