We offer the women in the hospital district of Southwest Finland and their families the services of specialised gynaecology.
We also study and treat patients from the hospital districts of Satakunta, Vaasa and Åland.
We offer specialist care in the fields of
general gynaecology, demanding gynaecology, fertility treatment, severe
endometriosis, female pelvic floor dysfunction, gynaecological day surgery and
the research and treatment of gynaecological cancers.
We function
as a scheduled appointment clinic. You need a doctor's referral to be admitted. We also admit
patients from the emergency room, other Tyks inpatient wards and other
hospitals.
All
appointments are subject to a clinic fee, a day surgical fee or a continuing
treatment fee, depending on the form of treatment. See
client fees.
We examine and treat women with
gynaecological problems in different stages of their lives. Most common reasons
to visit our clinic are early pregnancy complications, pregnancy terminations,
abnormal vaginal bleeding, lower abdomen pains (including endometriosis),
prolapses and urinary incontinence, abnormal Pap smear results and
gynaecological tumours. We treat gynaecological day surgery patients and give
sexual counselling. We also examine and treat men when it comes to issues of
infertility.
