We are responsible for the diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of patients over 16 years old with neurological diseases. We co-operate with the other neurological outpatient clinics of the hospital district.
You need a doctor's
referral to be admitted. Some of our patients are admitted via emergency without referral.
A clinic fee is collected from your visit. A continuing treatment fee is collected from continuing treatment.
Expertise and competence
We have received the Achiever of the year award of the hospital district in 2011 and 2013.
Our nurse Marjut Jalonen was chosen as the MS nurse of the year in 2013.
A part of the university hospital
There are Bachelors of Medicine, specialising doctors and students of nursing and other health care in practical training in our clinic. We will ask for your consent beforehand if we wish you to be a teaching patient.
You might also be enquired about your willingness to participate in medical or nursing science researches. Signing up for researches is completely voluntary and your refusal will not affect your treatment in any way.
