We perform demanding examination and treatment procedures of the heart, such as coronary angioplasty and cardiac catheterisation.
We treat the patients of the hospital district and the expert responsibility area. We also treat special patient groups outside the hospital district.
You need a doctor's referral to be admitted. We also treat emergency and acute patients without a referral. We have a 24/7 on call system for emergency cardiac procedures, such as primary angioplasty for acute myocardial infarction.
A day surgical fee is collected from surgical procedures.
We offer our patients invasive cardiologic treatment and examination without long waiting times.
We work as a teaching hospital, and the ward functions as an educational setting for specialising physicians of cardiology. In addition, there are nursing and radiography students at the ward.
The ward has 4 catheterisation laboratories, and one of them is equipped with a robotic magnetic navigation system. There is a five-bed monitoring room in the ward meant for patients arriving from home.
