Here you can find out more about the services of Women´s outpatient clinics for expecting mothers and their families for before and after giving birth
Before giving birth:
Clinic for mothers with the fear of childbirth
normally operates at the hospital, but currently during the coronavirus restrictions is carried out only by phone
on a set time midwife will call and have about one hour for the call
it is important to arrange a peaceful moment for the appointment
the other parent or support person can join the call by using speaker phone
the call is free for the family
After giving birth:
LYSY outpatient clinic (for families who have settled home from hospital before baby is two days old)
operates five days a week in Tyks U-hospital on the 10th floor
appointment will be booked when the family settles home from the hospital
LYSY outpatient clinic is meant for families who have settled home during the first 48h hours from childbirth by the paediatrician’s criteria
on the appointment paediatrician will do a check-up for baby, vasseu blood sample can be taken and family can also get guidance from our staff
the appointment is free for the family
KOPE outpatient clinic for families that have already settled home
operates in Tyks U-hospital on the 10th floor four days a week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday; weekdays 9–17 and on Saturdays 9–16)
appointments are meant to ease the settling at home for the families
the appointment can be scheduled before the family settles home from hospital or can be arranged based on a call to the Maternity ward guidance phone during the first two weeks after childbirth
the appointment is free for the family
Breastfeeding clinic
operates by phone on Tuesdays and Fridays
appointments will be scheduled by a referral or booked before settling home from the maternity ward
we are working on a possibility to arrange video calls if the pandemic is extended
Maternity ward guidance phone
guidance number is 02 313 1300
number operates Mondays to Fridays 8–15 and on Saturdays 9–15
you can also leave a call request and you will be called back
the service is free for the families
Blue light treatment at home
operates daily (treatment can be given at home and the monitoring of the treatment is done from Tyks)
blue light treatment at home is meant for the families whose baby has been treated with the blue light therapy already during their stay on the ward
during the appointment at Tyks paediatrician will do a check-up for the baby and on the same visit the family will be given guidance so that they will be able to carry out the blue light treatment at home
