Patients are admitted to be monitored in the clinic by a doctor's or a social worker's referral. The monitoring is often planned at the child inpatient ward soon after the child is born. The visit usually lasts 60 minutes. The child's weight and height are measured and a physician will examine him/her at every visit. We discuss the child's and the family's situation with the parents. A physiotherapist can attend the visits, if required. We are a part of the Tyks Department of Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine. Staff includes part-time specialist physician of paediatrics and part-time nurse.
