Gynaecological cancer research

Cancer treatment goes hand in hand with high-level scientific research. Gynaecological cancer patients have the opportunity to participate in international drug trials. See the open studies on the website of the Western Finland Cancer Centre.

Ovarian cancer research

The spearhead of our own cancer research is ovarian cancer (utu.fi). Our research group is part of the international DECIDER-consortium.
